Day 1

Airport-Hotel

  • Old Tbilisi walking tour. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient. All the places of interest in the Old Town are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk. Tour starts to Old Tbilisi from Ioane Shavteli street (statue of berikaoba), here on the way you will see legendary tower of the puppet theater and Clock tower Rezo Gabriadze; Anchiskhati Church (6th century) the oldest church in Tbilisi and the second oldest church (after BolnisiSioni) in Georgia. Then we will go down to the Sioni street that is named after the Sioni Cathedral (6th -7th centuries), which is located here. Next to the cathedral you can see a three-story building of the Tbilisi History Museum.  And a little bit further on you can see the first tram of Tbilisi and Tamada statue. Then through short pedestrian Charden Street, (Wadding row, Iron Row) we will walk to Metekhi Curch (13th century). Visit the statue of Mother of Georgia (depicts both the whole country and the national character of her people) by cable car and enjoy the views of the Old Town. And walk down to Narikala Fortress also called “the soul and the Heart” (4th century) and Sulphur Baths (Baths are built in the Turkish style)
  • Go back to the hotel and dinner.

Day 2

Tbilisi-Sighnaghi-Winery Nekresi-Nekresi Church-Nekresi

  • 07:00 to 09:00 Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00  pick up from the hotel
  • Sighnaghi - One of the most beautiful and interesting cities. Sighnaghi is known as the city of Love. 
  • Nekresi estate + wine tasting -  the "Nekresi estates" spread on 5 hectares unites a cellar, hotel and restaurant. The facade of the hotel is decorated with old Georgian wooden ornaments and a luxuious entrance.
  • Lunch at Nekresi estate, tasting Kakhetian cuisine
  • Nekresi Monastery Complex - Monastery Complex unites several monuments of Georgian architecture. One of them is a small basilica E. C.E. The small church that most scholars consider to be the earliest of the churches in Georgia to date.
  • Accommodation at Nekresi estate hotel
  • Dinner at the hotel

Day 3

Nekresi-Ikalto Monastery-Gemini Marani-Tbilisi

  • 07:00-09:00 breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00 pick up from the hotel  
  • Ikalto Monastery Complex is a monument of Georgian architecture, located in Kakheti region, Telavi municipality, 7-8 km north of Telavi.
  • Alaverdi Monastery Complex - Cathedral and Monastery is located in the Kakheti region, on Alazani valley. The temple is one of the largest church buildings in Georgia. Its height including dome is above 50 meters.

Day 4

Tbilisi-Kutaisi-Gelati-Prometheus Cave - Kutaisi

  • 07:00-09:00 Hotel Breakfast
  • 10:00 pick up from the hotel
  • Lunch in Kutaisi
  • Motsameta Monastery – is located on a rocky cape and is a Christian temple of the VIII  century. Its predecessor church was destroyed by the Arab army During the invasion, King Bagrat IV built a new church to immortalize the princes of Argveti, David and Konstantine Mkheidze. The remains of the saints are still preserved here in Luscum.
  • Prometheus Cave (a boat ride if desired) - Prometheus Cave is located in the village of Kumistavi, Tskaltubo Municipality, in the basin of the Kumi River. A total of 22 halls were found in the cave.

Day 5

Kutaisi-Martvili Canyon - Thomas Wine Cellar - Bagrati Cathedral- Kutaisi

  • Martvili Canyon - located in the valley of the Abasha River, the length of the canyon is 2400 meters. In the canyon, it is possible to take a boat tour.
  • Thomas Wine Cellar - is a family-type restaurant with over  50 years of wine with traditional technologies that have been inherited from generation to generation. Here you have the opportunity to gwt to know the traditions of Georgian Sufra.
  • Lunch at Thomas’s Cellar, Introduction to Imeretian Cuisine
  • Bagrati Cathedral -  It was built in 1003, during the reign of Bagrat III. Bagrati Cathedral is an important monument of Georgian culture, both in architectural solution and in symbolic terms. It is a symbol of the unity and strength of our country.
